Tekfen Construction Saudi Arabia projects.
Job Description:
Contracts Manager to be assigned at the Project based in Saudi Arabia will be responsible for the
overall corporate contract management related issues of the Project, a comprehensive scope of
responsibilities, covering the entire spectrum of contract management, claim management, contract
administration and compliance in align with the requirements of the Client and Tekfen (Company).
Main roles and responsibilities:
Draft and review of contract documentation in operation phases and a wide variety of different
contracts and preparation/write up of contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders and contractual
correspondence towards the Client and subcontractors.
Conduct comprehensive studies on contractual matters from technical, commercial, and legal
perspectives, while adhering to Company policies.
Support the tendering and operational teams for Contract & Risk Analysis, Bid Clarifications &
Correspondence.
Ensuring that Contracts are duly performed and closed, with all contractual issues, fully resolved /
settled.
Draft and align all subcontracts to ensure they reflect Project-specific back-to-back terms with the
Main Contract.
Ensure Company procedures in contract management is followed by Project team.
Monitor and manage subcontractor agreements to ensure alignment with the contractual
obligations,
Overall contract management of the Project.
Assist/coordinate/resolve/negotiate contractual issues
Assist departments for identification of contractual risk events and propose solutions.
Monitor contract performance and adherence to key milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
Perform studies on potential claim issues.
Strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple contracts
simultaneously.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil/mechanical engineering (Master’s degree on contracts management is
preferred) /Other majors may be considered provided that contract administration experience in
construction industry is proven
Minimum 7 years of experience in contracts administration in construction industry (previous
experience on claim management, dispute resolution etc. preferred)
Knowledge of international contract legislation and regulations, experience in FIDIC type of
contracts is preferred,
Management roles in large complex infrastructure projects, EPC projects and Turnkey projects,
Very good command of English,
International experience is preferred,
Very good command of MS Office applications,
Detail and quality-oriented nature,
Strong team player and good coordination skills for different disciplines,
Coherent with technology,
Effective communication and negotiation skills,
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
No travel restrictions.
