Job Description

MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN:

 

Duties and responsibilities:

 

  • Working on static, rotating and lifting equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems, lubricating moving parts, inspecting components for wear and tear, and replacing worn-out parts as needed.
  • Conduct inspections to prevent unexpected failures, ensuring equipment longevity and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs faulty mechanical equipment
  • Repair or replace mechanical components (e.g., belts, chains, shafts, gears) as required to restore equipment functionality.
  • Inspects belts, rollers, wheels, chains, gears, bearings, guards, guides, ropes/cables and fixtures for signs of damage.
  • Ability to install, inspect, repair and maintain the mechanical equipment within his remit.
  • Install mechanical components, assemblies, and parts for automated equipment, including motors, actuators, bearings, gearboxes, and conveyors in project Phrase
  • Align and set up automated machinery to ensure proper operation and integration of mechanical systems

 

 

ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN:

 

Duties and responsibilities:

 

  • Working on LV systems up to and including 480VAC.
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and components of automated equipment to prevent breakdowns
  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including wiring problems, faulty circuits, and component malfunctions.
  • Replace defective parts such as motors, sensors, fuses, or control devices
  • Identify and diagnose electrical faults in automation systems using diagnostic tools and testing equipment like mustimeters, and PLCs.
  • Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs/re-programs electric and electronic controls
  • Inspects wiring and fixtures for signs of damage.
  • Install electrical components and wiring systems for automated equipment during project phrase
  • Set up control panels, sensors, motors, and other electrical systems according to technical specifications.
